LashBack debuts certification program for unsubscribe compliance

LashBack, an email reputation provider, launched a Certified Network program specifically tailored for Email Service Providers (ESPs) and online advertising networks.
By incorporating LashBack's monitoring and intelligence services, ESPs and ad networks can ensure compliance with internal anti-spam policies, CAN-SPAM regulations and enforce unsubscribe best practices.
Key certification benefits include CAN-SPAM compliance, increased deliverability, consumer protection and corporate brand protection. LashBack unsubscribe reputation intelligence and automation services are used to protect millions of consumer inboxes. As actual consumers report messages to LashBack for unsubscribe processing, LashBack tracks and records the outcome of those unsubscribes. That track record of "success vs. failure" is the baseline for senders' reputation, which impacts deliverability at many of the largest ISPs.
LashBack's Certified Network Program works by plugging ad networks and ESPs into the LashBack network so they can monitor and proactively manage unsubscribe issues, which affect the reputation of the company and its customers. This ensures that unsubscribe requests (i.e., consumer opt-outs) are being honored in compliance with CAN-SPAM regulation. The program also provides companies with an enforcement tool to impose proper sending practices on behalf of their client base.
